The build up to Saturday's clash between Chelsea and Manchester City was all about the John Terry/ Wayne Bridge saga and specifically what woulf happen when the two of them came face to face before the match when the two sides lined up to shake hands.
Bridge blatently snubbed Terry's outstreched hand in a show of contempt for the former best friend he feels so betrayed by. He was boo'ed for the rest of the match by Chelsea supporters who obviously would have given Terry a hug and a high five were they in Bridges situation.
As Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler pointed out at the time this is probably unsuprising considering he was willing to miss the World Cup in order to not be in the same squad as Terry.
Bridge who went off injured did end up with some sort of satisfaction as his City team emerged victors 4-2. He witnessed John Terry have a nightmare day as he was harrased by Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy who both seemed eager to torture Terry for their stricken teammate.
Afterwards Terry was subjected to more punishment as Bellamy whose been in more trouble then Terry's had .. (best not finish that sentence)offered his own moral assesment of "JT"
